What do you get when you have the courage of an Acer Aspire 1810 laptop Timeline CULV replace the processor with a new, faster, Core i5-chip? Obviously, what you get is the Acer Aspire TimelineX 1830T.
Macle unveiled the first pictures and details coming on this notebook. Reprotedly A 11.6 inches, 1366 x 768 pixel display and an Intel Core i5 520UM processor with clock speeds ranging from 1.06 GHz to 1.86Hz with usage. The graphics core has a clock speed of 166MHz to 500MHz, and should be able to edit the playback of HD video, even if it might not be powerful enough for some games with 3D graphics.
After Maclen, the rest of the specifications more or less the same as those found by Acer current thin and light notebook: 802.11b/gn WiFi, HDMI, SPDIF and 3 USB ports and optional Bluetooth and 3G modem. The battery should be about 8 hours good.
