The Acer Liquid Stream new android phone comes courtesy of Phandroid, who spotted the device at Google I/O the other day. Well, Acer certainly look as though they are upping their game as the device has recently received FCC approval.
To start, the device is alleged to offer Android 2.1 is powered by SnapDragon 1GHz processor which is rumored to evolve into 2.2 either by release or soon after. The core processor is a tastey Snapdragon and helps record 720p HD video via the 5 megapixel camera.
There are whispers that this device could land in Europe this October, and at frec 850/1900MHz HSPA its quite possible that this phone will come in the USA pretty soon too.
