Powermat United States offers new Wireless Charger Powermat kit for iPhone 3G and 3GS

Late last year Powermat was offering a universal kit that offered wireless power for multiple devices that could charge as many as three items at once. That generic kit would work with a special case for the iPhone as well. Powermat United States has now announced a new kit specifically for the iPhone 3G or 3GS.

The Powermat Wireless Charging System for iPhone includes a new Powermat receiver case that will fit the iPhone 3G or 3GS smartphone and a wireless charge mat 1XA. The case leaves all the controls and ports of the iPhone open, with the exception of the charge and sync port.

The Powermat case does include a micro USB port and a Micro USB cable that allows the user to sync the iPhone without removing the Powermat case. The kit includes the case, the charge mat, and the AC adapter for $69.99.
