Samsung HT-C6930W World’s First 3D Blu-ray Home Theater 5.1 or 7.1 Channel Speaker System Includes Internet@TV

Samsung has had some success in the world of 3D technology with their 3D LED HDTV as well as their 3D Blu-ray player. Now, the world’s largest electronics company has another first on their hands, this time in the form of the world’s first 3D home theater system.

The Samsung HT-C6930W, their latest offering comes with a choice of either a 5.1 or 7.1 channel speaker system and a Blu-ray player. Designed to provide a strong 3D audio/visual experience, the unit can connect to an internal home network through either WiFi or the AllShare home network. It is through this network connection that home users can stream digital content from external devices like mobile phones and notebooks. Also available is a USB data port which offers another avenue for connectivity for flash drives and external hard drives.

The Samsung HT-C6930W includes Internet@TV which makes available a series of Internet widgets that can be used to keep track of local weather, stock quotes or UCC. Samsungs offering is said to be the most advanced Home Theater system available today and will launch with Automatic Sound Field Optimization as well as an adjustable aspect ratio from 21:9 to 16:9.
